What is Maria Sharapova’s tennis schedule for 2009?
I know she was out for the end of last year. I am wondering when her first matches for the year will be and what other matches will she be playing in to get her points built back up.(to get her rankings back up with more points)
Well they are reporting that she is expected to be back towards the end of march. That would elimate her for playing in the 2nd biggest tourney of the year thus far which is next week march 11th-24th the pacific life open at indian wells aka the tourney that venus and serena vow to never play again at. But right after that march 25th- apr 5th is a Huge tournament the sony ericson in florida which is even bigger than indian wells. That would be the most likely place u will see her comeback from this devastating injury. After that is she stays healthy look for her to play in all the other big tourneys including the 3 majors remaining.
