Why is the score not always displayed in Wimbledon?
In television coverage of Wimbledon (and, I think, all tennis) the score is displayed only when the main serving camera shot is being shown. When other angles or shots are used, the score disappears.
Is there a reason for this? It can’t be a technical issue in this day and age, and since this is the BBC – but I can’t think of a reason why this would be done on purpose. It’s annoying!
well you dont wanna distract the audience from thier enjoyment of the upskirts on display.
