Knees hurt while playing tennis?
So recently my knees have started hurting on and off the tennis courts.
Im very athletic (track, cross country, basketball, and tennis), 15 years old, 5’10″, and only 130 lbs. Ive never injured my knees, ive never had any serious injury really; and im rather skinny.
I switched from tennis shoes to running shoes while i play tennis after my knees started hurting. This helped a bit.
Any advice?
I’m starring you bec. I have the same problem except that it’s only my right knee.. I couldn’t fully stretch or bend it and it really hurt when putting weight on it..I was advised to take sometime off , wasn’t a problem as I only play for fun, and wear the knee brace.. after a week i became fine and it didn’t hurt again when I started playing.. I’m sharing my experience with you but your condition might not be the same as mine, you’re young and certainly more athletic than I am.. asking a doctor never hurts : ) but I believe that you might need sometime off.. when the knee hurts it needs rest not more excercise.
