Can I get into GWU/ Boston College/ and Georgetown?
GPA-3.72 unweighted 4.25 weighted. I take every single Honors/AP/CIS course offered at my school and am a year ahead in math.
SAT-not taken
ACT- 27. re-taking it to get a 30 or better
Activities:
Cultural Dance-13 years
Speech- placed at 8 tournaments out of 16
Debate- placed at 2 out of 5 toiurnaments and won best speaker award
Tennis-Varsity senior year
Youth in Government- held leadership position since freshman year and hold one of the highest positions this year
Conference of National Affairs-got selected to be a part of it and am doing it
National Honors Society
World Language National Honor Society
Student Ambassador: Vice President
Spanish Club- fresh and soph year and both years was a leader
Volunteer:
-Library every summer
-Feed my starving Children
-Children’s hospital
-SILC (a cultural thing where i teach social studies)
Other:
-Have done testimonies for FOX News
The only thing that could block you is the ACT is low. Suggest also applying to College of the Holy Cross (outside Boston) which is comparable academically but SAT Optional.
