Junior Tennis Shoes
what are the must have clothing??
Hi, my family is not that rich and havent allowed have allowed me to shop at a bare minimal of twice a year and i never get much with my mom coming with me. But im going to be a junior in high school this year and i feel i really need to buy some new clothes! i need to buy a pair of shoes: i only have one pair of black flats, one pair of black flip-flops and one pair of tennis shoes that i have been wearing to school for the past four years…
I only have $50 dollars to spend, and i need to buy a pair of shoes that i can wear with almost anything and wont be “out of date soon”.
what do you suggest i buy and where should i buy them at? i was thinking of buying a pair of converse but does that go with flare jeans (which are becoming the trend… yes?)? and i should buy a sweater or t-shirt or something that would last me the whole school year…?
So with $50 what should i buy for school?

Mm well, $50 is indeed horrible for a budget… so the list is of course narrowed, but there are always possibilities…
Flare jeans are actually not the trend, skinny jeans are. They go with pretty much any look and are great with flats, boots, and heels, so they are a must. I’d recommend a dark wash – it’s good for both going out and casual wear as well.
As for shoes… you say you already have a pair of black flats, but an updated pair might be necessary, something that is comfortable but solid. While leather is nice, it is not supportive, but sneakers are a bit too casual for my tastes, I’m not sure about yours. 
So I’d recommend a ballet flat in a basic color with a sturdy shape to provide support and also look adorable with your new jeans.
So… if you do go bargain hunting, it is possible to buy the jeans for $30-$35 and the shoes for $20-$25, which should run you in total $50-$60. If it is at all possible, I would try to convince your parents to buy you one of the following as a basic that you will need for years to come, and that wah they feel as if they are in fact getting a bargain:
Tailored jacket/blazer
Skinny jeans (can you tell I favor them?)
Boots… without fur please, just a basic leather or something
Collared shirts in easy colors like white, black, and so on
Of course, the essential little black dress (I happen to own 3)
