Ranking Tennis 2009
will gilles simon ever get into the top 10 again?
i am a big gilles simon fan but of late say since mid 2009 his game has been just falling apart..he keeps losing (really horibly) to lower ranked players and frankly its really frustrating for his fans to be so hopeful about his performance. so i want your opinion. will he get back to playing top level tennis?
I definitely think he has the talent to do so. He just needs to regain the form he had a year ago when he was ranked as high sixth in the world. I think he the potential and talent to be ranked 4th or 5th a few years down the road but that’s as far as he can go. He’s currently ranked 24th in the world so if he performs well in the Grand Slams and wins a few small tournaments he can improve his ranking but I don’t think he’ll get back into the Top 10 this year as many guys are stepping up their game and improving. I think he’ll be ranked around 17th or 18th when the year ends.
