Can you please explain this comment by Federer after Tsonga match?
Federer said that he felt he should have won the first set. I would really like to know how he came to this conclusion, since the set seemed pretty even until the tie-break (both had break chances which were not converted). In the tie-break Tsonga made some incredible shots including the last one which injured his elbow as he landed on it. So can someone please tell me how Federer thought he should have won the first set. It’s true, then, that he hardly credits his opponent’s efforts. of course, he MUST win the 1st set. having 3 break points on 4-4 and dropping them so easily, especially the one where the right side was completely open and he hit the ball long (like in the 1st set in the Wimby final).
but the 3rd set was the absolute hammer by blowing it in the wind with a 5-1 lead.
can only shaking my head – wtf was going on?
