Why is there no live broadcasting on BBC 1 or 2 of US Open Final? Andy Murray just a Scotchman?
I have now to put up with dull Flemish comment on Eurosport TV. I prefer tennis comment as a dialogue of 2 commentators. One of them knows at least the game! On Flemish TV this commentator has the boring habit to talk of the past and of weariness of the players. He often doesn’t comment what happens on the spot; he cannot “explain” the beauty of a difficult shot, and so on. You British can and with two commentators there is much more liveliness. I miss it NOW.
Be thankful you got it. With five sports networks on my cable bill and a CBS station, which showed the women’s final, not one of these channels showed the men’s final! Tennis is getting little respect from the worldwide TV media. I have complained ad nauseum. Now many fans like me are just giving up. Hopefully we’ll be able to subscribe soon to all the grand slams online and give the proverbial finger to the TV networks!
