Why don’t English channels pay more attention to soccer?
It’s ridiculous really, i mean i turn on my tv that has basic cable and i see GOLF and TENNIS and SPELLING BEES but never any good international soccer match! I have to go to my tv with satellite to see a game! Our national team is currently in south africa in the confederation cups SEMIFINALS going against SPAIN the european champions (beasts) yet there is no coverage of this on any webpage like yahoo or msn ? It’s sad really i go on yahoo and see golf and all this other crap coverage but not soccer. Why?! Only channels in spanish show all the soccer matches and stuff, i don’t think it’s fair.

Well it may be that soccer isn’t very popular on tv, but there probably might be one channel that has it, I also have another, much more sensible theory.You know how tv prodoucers sit with the people they hire and talk about the ratings and if the show is popular or not?, well, they probably think that soccer won’t make it that far, or as far as basketball or football, and also, these are not my opinions(tht soccer won’t make it that far). and golf ad tennis and spellng bees suck (that’s my opinion)
