2011 could be Jelena Jankovic's Last Chance

Jelena will be 26 next February, in the same age, Amelie Mauresmo was as if their first Grand Slam titles won at the 2006 Australian Open. The French Phenom, was also No1 in the world for some time without one of the greatest tennis crowns its name. Amelie was to change their luck, and so Jankovic in 2011.

Why this year is so important for this Serbian star? Since no former No1 ever their first Grand Slam title at a later age then Mauresmo won on 26 If Jelena missed next year it will be breaking new ground in power and have to win their first Grand Slam title older than any of their predecessors in WTA history.

Of course, it would not be the first time Jelena something unprecedented in WTA Tournaments and has achieved rankings. In 2008, she was only No1 in history without an appearance in a Grand Slam final, a fact that they deleted a few weeks later, earning a Place in the U.S. Open title match. As 2008 went to the end, she was crowned as the first WTA world champion without a Grand Slam title, a fact that Jelena gets rash about every issue in the media.

"Grand slams are not the only tournaments in tennis. There are other great songs but still have" seems Jelena shares his answer when the question. I think that deep down she knows what the most important titles in tennis and not give up fighting until one of them.

After Jelena won the tournament in Indian Wells this year, she felt that 2010 would be her year. As they fought the French Open Semi-final it looked like it may have been right. At this critical moment in her career at Roland Garros, she froze and potentially missed the best opportunity they had to to win Grand Slam titles.

"The whole time I was not really a rhythm. Stosur played really well. I felt strong on my feet. I have not really move out there, "said Jelena, after what the greatest Grand Slam opportunity and disappointment could have been her career.

The second half of 2010 brought no comfort to Jelena. She retired in the fourth round of Wimbledon because of her back, she moved in Portoroz an ankle injury. As a result, they slipped from second to 8 Place in the WTA rankings. "I've never had so many injuries, my season was ruined," she complained recently when they returned home. "If I manage to stay in 2011, I will initially be healthy again."

To fulfill this promise in 2011, which I believe they must Jelena stay healthy and win a Grand Slam tournament. Before starting the 2011 season, she has to solve another challenge looking for a coach. Jelena is the kind of players who maintain at its highest when they fall from the top tennis heads. She reached No1 with Spaniard Ricardo Sanchez as their Trainer. She won in Indian Wells this year and went to No2 with Chip Brooks at her side. Currently entering the 2011 season is coachless and has since the summer time, perhaps one of the Main reasons for its slide in the second half of the season.

Editor's note: In December 16th, 2010, Jelena Jankovic an agreement with the former Romanian tennis player Andrei Pavel, the partnership involved in coaching.

Jelena's made a big Step to improve this off-season strength and their endurance to avoid injury by acquiring the services of a new fitness expert. Dejan Popovic is a black belt Judo fighter who has worked with many different sports champions. He was Mladjan Janovic, Jelena friend, himself a member of the water polo team of Montenegro recommended.

With a new commitment to training, a new coach and a new Outlook 2011 determines Jelena Jankovic is watching a player.
