For USTA tennis ratings what are some specific things to work on that will help me go from 3.0 to 3.5 ?
im a stronger player in some areas (at the net, forehands), but weak in others (serving, back hands) are there some good drills or even something i could practice alone that would be great too
The other answer is correct, but that is a more mechanical thing. The main difference between 3.0 and 3.5 is the amount of spin on the ball. You need to put top spin on your ball, which you just have to keep your racket face close to do. I think that you should join a tennis club and the pros will teach you how to do these things, and in no time, you will be 4.5. Consistency is also a huge part in separating these ranks.
