bill gates [=bg] has averaged US$500,000 for every working hour of his life – that is 5000 pairs of shoes every hour, or 5 $100,000 cars every hour, or 1 $500,000 house or factory or warehouse, or 50,000 $10 meals – that is a lot of our work we are giving him – the guy only does what everyone does: works with his nature-given or godgiven gifts at whatever pleases him to choose to do
should we be giving 1% of people 90% of world income? – that is 90% of world work: buildings, cars, planes, trains, ships, companies, tennis rackets, appliances, shares, stocks, bonds, food
would we stop doing this if we were awake, aware, conscious of what we are doing?
i mean, does it make for universal extreme unhappiness to be distributing so extremely?
should we be looking again at our customary behaviour?
could we have become unconsciously selfdestructive?
has war escalated for 1000s of years?
He was smart enough to make that kind of money. I don’t begrudge him.
That is part of the beauty of America. The freedom to become what you want. You have opportunity. Most people don’t use it wisely enough.
