Tennis Blake Roddick

Why can’t the American men find success in tennis?
James Blake? Andy Roddick? Marty Fish? Sam Querrey? Taylor Dent? Robbie Ginepri? John Isner?
What’s up with American men’s tennis? I hate the fact that we don’t have any USA men’s players winning slams. I’m not fans of them, but still, it would be nice to see them fulfill their talent. Ever since James Blake was in the spotlight at the US Open a few years ago making the semis, he hasn’t done anything. Andy Roddick is all talk and can’t get the job done in big situations. Taylor Dent is a serve-volleyer, with only a big serve. He can’t stay healthy and his game won’t work on all surfaces. John Isner is all serve, with bad movement and no game. Robby Ginepri is far too inconsistent and stays injured often.
I haven’t seen great American players with much success since Agassi and Sampras. Everybody knows how good they were. Is men’s tennis is America in trouble?
Marty Fish isn’t athletic enough, Taylor Dent isn’t versatile, all John Isner can do is serve, and Ginepri & Querrey…there isn’t much to say.
When Andy Roddick is on the top of his game, he has the capability to beat a Roger Federer, but he isn’t on top of his game often enough, which explains his early exits lately in grand slams.
James Blake has probably been the most consistent out of all American tennis players but he still needs that extra tweak in his game to reach the top.
Pete Sampras was the best ever and Agassi was one of the greatest and now that they are gone I do think men’s tennis in America may be in trouble, yes.
