In tennis, can you be fined for not shaking the umpire’s hand after the game?
I just saw the Aussie Open, the championship match between Djokovic and Tsonga. After the game, both players shook hand then they went to the umpire to shake his hand, but Tsonga did not shake umpire’s hand for some reason. Is he allowed to do that or will he be fined?
Tsonga is a jerk. You can’t be fined just for that, but if foul language or insults were made to the chair umpire or linesmen then you can and will be fined.
