Tennis Court Diagram
quick math question? i’m confused..?

a tennis court is 23.8m by 11 m. a tennis club as 3 courts side by side in a fenced area.
the three courts have 3 m between them and 3 m around the outside.

a)what is the total area of the three tennis courts?
b)what is the area of the fenced space
d) paving costs 45/m^2, how much dopes it cost to fence 3 tennis courts?

i drew a diagram to help me, but i wasnt sure of what to do.. could anybody help me?

PLEASE dont do the question for me therefore i need to learn.. i was wondering if anybody could explain this to me.. properly?

please and thank you! i appreciate it.

draw the diagram, then check it with the problem to make sure you did it correctly

then for a), start by multiplying 23.8 by 11, then take that and multiply it by three
785.4

b) (3 + 23.8 + 3 + 23.8 + 3 + 23.8 + 3) X ( 3 + 11 + 3)
83.4 X 17
=1,417.8 meters squared

c) for question c, does the paving take care of just the surface area of the actual 23.8 by 11 courts(i.e. problem a?) or for the entire area in the fenced section(i.e. problem b?) ( and did you mean PAVE 3 tennis courts, not fence?)
if it is modeled after problem a, then take 785.4 m^2 X $45/m^2=$35343
if it is modeled after problem b, then take 1,417.8 m^2 times $45/m^2=$63801
