Best tennis center in NYC?
I’m going to NYC this summer on a trip to make sure I want to move there and what is the biggest tennis center in the city and what borough is it in? Also what’s the biggest one in Manhattan? Oh and does anyplace in the NYC area have grass courts?
Why the biggest? Why not the one where court time is easier to get?
If you want to be able to find a court without putting your name on a list months earlier, try any borough other than Manhattan. I know the Prospect Park Tennis Center is a pretty user friendly place. It’s not big, but you can usually get a court and the people there are very nice. The courts are clay, though. They are outdoors in the summer and then a bubble goes up in October so that you can play indoors the rest of the year.
