Tennis Edberg

Who is the Greatest Athlete to ever play the sport of Tennis?
I would have to say either Bjorn Borg, or Stefan Edberg for the men, and either Steffi Graf, or Martina Navratilova for the women. Who do you think was/are the fittest tennis players?
On the women’s side it is Graf or Navratilova, who, unsurprisingly, are also known as the two greatest women players of all time.
Many would say that the greatest male athlete was Bjorn Borg. There are plenty of tales about his speed and endurance, including a story about him beating an Olympic hurdler in a 100 meter race. And apparently he had a resting heart rate of 40. And he once killed a bear with his bare hands because he didn’t like the way it looked at him. Well, the last one isn’t true, but the others are. I think Rafael Nadal is also a tremendous athlete and may be even fitter than Borg. Unsurprisingly, they are the two greatest of all time on clay, the surface that requires the highest degree of physical fitness.
