What is the function of deuce in badminton games, tennis and etc?
Does it have something to do with psychological effect or whatsoever?
deuce is given to have a fair judgment in both sides of the players, as well as to see who’s really deserving to win the game. so when you’re in a deuce score-game, one will get the advantage to score and for the other one to strive to have another deuce, sometimes in tennis, deuce is not given in short games, thus they have a “sudden death” game to have the fast pace..that’s what i know because i understand the officiating rules in tennis and only tennis is my game!
