what kind of colleges should i look at / can you recommend some?
hey, so my parents are planning out my summer before junior year and we agreed it would be good to look @ a few colleges.
i don’t know where to start.
is there a website where i can put in info & based on the results pick out some colleges?
if you can recommend what kind of college or any specific colleges for me, that’d be really great.
-i go to one of the top high schools in the us.
-i have always gotten straight a’s, not perfect a+++ or anything, & i got a b+ this year last quarter.
-i like dance, swimming, tennis, photography, i’m interested in politics & world events as well as the environment.
-i take the accelerated courses offered to tenth graders from my school
-i’ll be taking really tough courses next year, especially hard classes in the fields that interest me…like fashion marketing & ap us history & psych
-as a career, i’d probably looking for something in a humanities field…like journalism, magazine editing, etc
again, any suggestions welcome !
You can do several things./
Many colleges offer vocational interest tests. Take one.
Speak to your guidance counselor and teachers and ask them for recommendations.
It is a good idea to visit some colleges.
