When are we going to see the Cycling Federation banning the drug filled Tour de France?
I think we are all sick sore and tired at the on going stories of drug taking cyclists. In this minority sport the Olympic Committee could help by removing cycling from its list of Sports. Then we should see the Sporting Bodies in U.K. removing any funding given to any group involved in Professional Cycling. Yes I know the Olympics is supposed to be Non-Professional but we all know Olympians in the main are in it for the money. However to get back to doping. We have seen dope takers allowed back into the sports. We even had the farce of people running away and refusing to have drug tests done. That’s one of the main problems. Those who should act sit on their hands and look as if everything is rosy. I say anyone who uses drugs in sports to enhance their performances plus those athletes or footballers or tennis players or whoever who refuse or run away from a drug test should have an automatic ban of five years from all sports. I believe this would remove some of the cheats.
it sounds like a good idea, but it wouldn’t happen, sadly. for the most part, those who are taking the drugs are the most popular in the sport. they give the sport their name, and if the were kicked out for 5 years, sports would lose their publicity
