Tennis Great Lew

Tennis Great Lew
Is this better than the normal rhyming rubbish?

This is my mere life, technically it amounts to nothing
After my pain and strife, I thought it would amount to something
6 years of rejection, for the ones I fell for
I’m always the friend, it’s like I’m knock-knocking on hells door
The ones that do like me, I couldn’t care about
Just a consolidation for the ones I tore my hair out – over
Here’s another supernova
I’m bounced around like tennis, with no Maria Sherapova
The back hand represents the, non-risk able
Friendship, which in my eyes is so physical
Such a closely knitted relationship, the tension has begun
It’s too late, I fell for the one I shouldn’t have done
But fuck it, I’m used to it, rejection is my middle name
Even though this one, could have been great

I had, self respect once but I lost it to you
Because I respect you so damn much I f***ing hate Lew
This man right here, is just a broken shell, heading for an open hell
Where he hoped and fell

Just a taster of my song :D

You totally get 10 points for rhyming the name “Sherapova”. The rhythm is really catchy, also.

My only suggestion is to make sure that somewhere in the rest of the song you explain who Lew is.
