Tennis Handicapping
"Biscuit" in tennis … How do you use it?

I understand that a biscuit is a handicap – one point per set. Can you describe situations in which it is used? In my mind it should be used to the game from 4.5 to 5.0 players be the same. I have never offered a biscuit or even experienced discussed. Bisque is in the tennis dictionary defines but described adequately enough to understand. Can you describe their use today? Thank you! LOL! I wanted to type "NOT" described sufficiently enough …

Bisque is a croquet term for a free turn in a handicap match. But Im also guess it is a term for tennis, too.
