Tennis Highlights 2009
2009 Tennis highs and lows?

Ok, the season (Davis Cup aside) about. What you are seeing her as the years biggest highs and lows? In no particular order, my highlights .- .- .- 1 Kim Clijsters at the U.S. Open returns are 2 to win. Roger Federer breaks the all-time Grand Slam record. 3 .- Rafael Nadal Clay wins his first major in Melbourne. 4 .- Juan Martin delPotro breaks through to win his first Grand Slam title. 5 .- Nikolay Davy Denko finally wins big in ATP finals. Lowlights .- 1 .- Andy Murray U.S. Open dismal performance. 2 .- Serena Williams' outbreak in U.S. Open semifinals. 3 .- Rafael Nadal caps one end of the injury-prone Season going 0-3 in London. 4 .- Marat Safin finally called it quits in a unique unspectacular. 5 .- Dinara Safina is whiny and uncompetetive loss in the French Open Final. Opinions?

Highlights-1) Roger won the elusive French Open title and entry into the exclusive club of six men have won career slam. The way he fought Tommy Haas and del Potro turn sent on their way to the finals many heads, but he did eventually end. The fact that his 14th Slam was and came even after the heartbreaking loss after AO was just so special for him and his fans. 2) Rogi win Wimbledon, he was the favorite of all, until it came into the final round, as Andy Roddick played like an animal. The fifth set was a bit and the way that Roger jumped after winning the fifth set I feel like he could be a good jumper too. I I have a feeling for Andy Roddick, though, and I would feel bad for Rogi he had lost the Wimbledon after losing the last two years Wimby Loss would have made as a result. Rogi's path to success was of Wimbledon and what a place to break Pete's record. 3) Rafa won the Australian Open. People had questions about Hard skills Rafa and he responded by winning the first hard disk court Slam of the year. The way he fought Verdasco and then came back to beat Roger showed his fighting spirit and mental strength. I'm glad for him because no one will ever say that he has never won a hard court slam. He has the heart of a champion and then Indian Wells also amid windy conditions, which further showed his skills Hard won. 4) Del Potro, he did what no one else could do. He then beat Rafa and Roger in a grand slam on two consecutive days. AM has Rogi and Rafa at Masters Series, but not something achieved JMDP beaten out of this world. He broke Roger unbeaten record at USO and got his first grand slam and it was amazing to see how he kept his cool in the fourth set against the coolest person. He has big by reaching the finals at the WTF, and he is great Things come to him. 5) Kim Clijsters won her second USO after years of retirement. They had both the William sisters and a Warn Wozniacki and defeat it only showed how much they believed in themselves. She was like "I came, I saw, I conquered." It was sweet to see her and Jada holds the trophy and that power must The other players may have set thinking, if they do it so can we. 6) The rise of Soderling, Cilic and Melanie Oudin. Depth-1) Ana Ivanovic losing to all and everyone and not in a position to produce the same form as in 2008. 2) Safina will not be able to win a Slam and not play well under pressure. 3) Andy Murray is not in able to win a Slam, having the largest possible hype before Australian Open. 4) Maria Sharapova is not able to come back.
