Tennis Knowledge Test
What are my chances at Stanford?
I’m a high school senior who applied; here’s my stats: I have a 3.7 GPA (i did better each year), a 1990 SAT, 31 ACT, subject tests: history, 720; math 2, 710; japanese, 420 (eww). I’ve taken 5 ap classes and have 30 credits from community college classes, i’m captain of the tennis team, i’m president of knowledge bowl, in NHS, was in pep and concert band, and i just started volunteering over the summer but i already have over 125 hours. I know it’s a long shot for anybody but does anyone out there think i’ve even got a shot?
No. Without some extraordinary intervention, such as an athletic scholarship, you will not see the inside of a Stanford classroom.
