Would men’s tennis be more exciting without Federer around?

He’s my favorite player, but i think there would be more chances for other players without him.

No way. When Roger was in his prime 2 – 4 years ago he was unstoppable now he is comfortable & complacent and not as dedicated to go all out so you see Nole & Rafa taking him for a set or a match here and there. He has set the bar pretty high and is the next best after Sampras just like some young buck who hasn’t even shown up yet will be the next best after Roger. The depth of the Mens game is more evident today with so many good top 10 players but only a few can still beat Roger but wait til next year that number will grow and grow some more the year after. Roger is getting older and slower it is called getting older. Gasquet, Nadal, Djokovic, Murray, Tsonga, Simon, Young, & Isner will all be looking to move up and find spots in the top 10 that they can call home for a few years until the likes of Tomic, Silva, and other hot young prospects break in. Roger has been a benchmark for the sport so that all competitors might measure their worth in comparison to his greatness.
