Tennis Phoenix
Would you recommend living in Palm Springs, CA?
I want to live in the Southwest. I live in the Midwest now. My boyfriend also likes California and has been to Palm Springs for the Pacific Life tennis tournament.
I really want to live near Phoenix, but I want to be a teacher, and Arizona’s education system is underfunded largely. Also, Phoenix has had the most kidnappings in the nation as of recent, and I want a safe, happy, healthy family.
I want to live somewhere that is nice and warm and has palm trees, but I also want to be able to contribute to the family financial on a teacher’s salary.
Would you recommend Palm Springs, CA? Why or why not?
I don’t recommend Palm Springs. You would literally live in the middle of the desert. if you want to live in the southwest, I suggest Los Angeles, Anahiem, or San Diego. All three have a variety of entertainment locales, but for the job… Well, California is getting heavy budget cuts. its so bad, that even honors students can see the hit. it’s pretty safe here, as long as you teach your kids all that “don’t talk to strangers” stuff. if you want to raise a family with a teachers salary, rent because houses are still very expensive. Save up your money. That’s all I gotta say
