Is this tennis racquet right for me?
I am probably an intermediate player with moderate tennis experience and am planning on stepping up my skills/ability. I am going on a Tennis Tour to the Australian Open in 2009 and will be competing in a tournament. I am looking at purchasing a Wilson Nano Carbon Tour Racquet for $130 (http://www.forehand.pl/galerie/wilson-nano-carbon-tour_609.jpg – picture). Can you please tell me if this racquet is sufficient for my ability and needs? Thanks
I’ve never even heard of this racquet, which leads me to believe that this racquet won’t help you much. Go with the Wilson Kfactor series, like the Kblade Tour, the Kblade 98 or, if you can handle the weight try the Ksix-one 95 (I use this racquet, and its a really good racquet). You should really demo a few racquets, if possible, before buying one or two (at the intermediate competition level, you should get a backup). I would also demo some racquets from the Prince O3, or O3 Speedport line.
