Tennis Practice Net
Have you seen, beach tennis?
This is possibly the coolest sport I've ever seen. They play on the sand on the volleyball court with net just under 6 feet tall. It's all volleys and usually ends a monster overhead smash with. Does anyone out there seen or heard of? I have a website beachtennisusa.net that has information about it, but I wanted to see if our community has played tennis, or seen it. Must be double great for practice and footwork.
I agree. I was lucky, the chance to play some beach tennis in Anguilla (Caribbean island). I'm not very good tennis, I admit, but Beach Tennis is certainly one of the fast-paced sport I've ever tried. You're probably right about the practice also offers it, it's a great workout. My only complaint is the heat. Tennis is a sport where brutal heat burns, no matter where you are, and on the beach on a hot island, I could not play more than an hour at a time before I sit in the shade and drink my weight in water, haha required.
