What should someone wear to a an Apple Recruiting Seminar for a specialist position?
I’ve been invited to an Apple Recruiting Seminar to be evaluated for a specialist position. I was wondering if anyone who has successful experience with the Apple hiring process could give me a few tips? I’m primarily interested in what to wear to the event. They said that “business casual” is fine, but I’ve been reading contradicting descriptions of business casual on different websites. I’ve read that some people who attended these seminars wore jeans, tennis shoes, and a polo. I’ve also read that some people wore a button down shirt and dress pants. I’m thinking that I will wear long khaki pants, but I can’t decide on whether to wear a polo un-tucked, polo tucked, or button down dress shirt. I appreciate any advice that people may be able to offer.
This is for a specialist (retail) position at a mid-size Apple Store.
If it’s in a business office then you should probably wear a button down dress shirt. If the position is for something technical just let your geek flag fly.
