Tennis String Tension
question about tennis string tension,?
im about to buy a Babolat Aero-pro Drive Cortex.
However, i have no idea which string tension will fit me the best
Im 170cm tall with 55kg weight………
please provide details!!! and reasons to why!!
The two most important things when get your new racquet string:
1. String
2. String Tension
Your racquet String Tension is 55-65 lbs. There are certain strings that you want to put on your racquet Depend on your level of playing? are you a beginner, an intermediate, an advanced player? Do you get tennis elbow easily. are you a baseliner kind of person, or are you a net player? Do you prefer power player or you want control on your ball.
if beginner, get Prince synthetic gut with duraflex and string at 60 lbs because it’s balance of power and control, you will get advantage of neither. If you have power already string at 61 or more to get more control on the ball, and string lower 56-59 to get more power.
if you are a string breaker often, you try out multifilament or Polyester these are hard, stiff string but durable. Some will get you tennis elbow if you are easy to get them. follow guideline to string your racquet accordingly. But nonetheless, if you’re not sure what tension, string at 60lbs is best.
