Recommendations for a tennis racket?
I now have 3 games for nearly months, I have a string broke on two bat … was quite used I think the brand was the head. I bought a $ 20 Wilson broke and I tried it one month to return a hard shot. I would consider myself beginner / Intermediate, but leaning towards the intermediate side .. Any recommendations for clubs? I want something that will last. There are no tennis stores here as a generic sports store is where I go. My budget is around $ 40.
$ 40 is hard to find a really good one. For about $ 50 you get a screaming OS Prince TT, a really good performance, which is very stable. I know a 4.0 guy who is still with it. Dunlop 500 is around $ 60 these days, pretty good for the price. Head Radical is about 65 dollars, but it is more for advanced intermediate players. BTW, covering service costs about $ 25-30, and the strings are usually better than what comes with the frame. Get a poly string, which should take a beginner about a year or two. I am a guy who plays twice a week he broke the string stretched over two years! In fact, he played with The Broken String for about 30 minutes, he found it was broken (because he does not believe he ever be able to break it!).
