What are the Best Singles Tactics in tennis.?
Ive got a tennis match this afternoon (in a tournament) i can hit the ball and place it pretty good. i just don’t know what to do and when to do it. I’m around ITN4 standard so yeah, whats some good tennis Tactics.
1. Keep your errors low.
2. Start off hitting at only about 60% power, then hit harder as you settle more into the game
3. Try to recognize your opponents weaknesses, and how you can use your strengths against their weaknesses. Your first opportunity to think about this is during the 5-minute warmup. Also use changeover time to think about this.
4. Come prepared, warmed up, rested, hydrated, with extra rackets, with towel… etc. etc.
5. Keep your emotions in check.
