I think i really hurt my leg..,?
i was at softball practice today and got hit in the leg from a throw while warming up. It hurt but i walked it off and planned on going to the athletic trainer later. It didnt hurt too much but it was sort of swollen.2 hours later my friend looks at my leg and screams. it is black and blue and about 1 inch tall and the size of a tennis ball. it hurts to walk and hurts to touch. i now have ice on it but it is huge. my mom said i might need to go to the doctor to get it drained. is that too drastic? i have never had a bruise or swelling this bad. is it really bad and should i go to the doctor?
You should go to the doctor, but you probably won’t have to get it drained. It might be fractured depending on how hard the hit was. Don’t worry! That has happened to me before, but it hit my ankle. It was a tiny fracture. Hope I helped!(:
