Tennis Vs Basketball
What is the point of this ridiculous point system?
In European basketball a team gets two points for winning and one point for loosing. The leader board becomes even more unviewable when teams have played unequal number of games. I have noticed that in some newspapers the point column is omitted and only the number of lost and won games is shown creating the leader board.
If there is some penalty for not appearing to a game or such thing, it would still be more practical to subtract points rather than what is now used.
I have an idea that certain committees are more focused on making money than positive changes into a sport ( positive active changes in volleyball, tennis vs. bad and slow changing concepts in handball, soccer, basketball), but what really intrigues me is what kind of sick brain has created this specific confusion with no one to stop or change it.
