Tennis Warehouse Demo
I wanna try new strings and rackets but have no idea where to start….?

i currently use head sonic 17 strings on my head Ti S2 at 55 and thats all i’ve ever had in the two years ive played besides the cheap recreational racket i had when i was first learning the game

My skill level is 3.0 – 3.5 that gets decent pace to fast pace, uses some topspin but not obsessed with it and like to use flat winners with my forehands and play mostly a counter punching baseline game

I also want to get a new racket but have no idea where to start for demoing from Tennis Warehouse
the head ti S2 is a very light racket (9.4 ounces) so i know if i wanna step up my game i should move up to some heavier sticks but im not sure what to try

Two rackets I will probably demo are the EXO3 95 rebel team (lite version of monfils)
and head youtek radical which i used briefly before and really enjoyed
are there any babolats that you reccomend for me my budget is up to $200 for the stick

wat strings are good for me?

Your Ti S2 was a Intermediate/Beginners racquet so it’s good that you want to shift to a better stick! However, the Ti S2 was less than 9.4 ounces so you probably don’t want to spend it on a racquet that is over 12 ounces.

I noticed that you are looking for a racquet that produces flat shots and use the counter punching style. You might want to look for a racquet that has a String Pattern 18 x 20. It has so much more feel and control over 16 x 19 string pattern racquets which are more spin and power oriented. The Head YOUTEK Radical Oversize that Agassi currently uses is 11.1 ounces and it has the qualities you are looking for. Its an 18 x 19 pattern so it has a balance of control, feel, power and spin (more on the feel and control side). Cilic and Soderling use the Head YOUTEK Radical Midplus and they are very flat hitters.

I’d say go with Head if you are in a hurry to buy a racquet. New Babolat racquets are coming out sometime in February so it would be better to consider it when the prices go down. Remember that Babolat racquets are usually the 16 x 19 patterns and are recommended for players above the 4.0 skill level.

For strings, try at least three types of strings. Synthetic gut (Prince Synthetic Gut with Duraflex), Polyester (Luxilon Big Banger), and monofilaments (Wilson NXT 17)

All of these are on Tennis Warehouse so good luck demoing!
