Who said Serena will not defend her title? It was an odd statement any way seeing that she was in the tournament. Well done Serena! Australian women’s champion and Australian women’s doubles champions! What a combination! Well done girls and shame to the Australian Tennis Association for not recognising her as a champion even once right through the tournament. Henin can go and re-group
Serena did a great job today, and she deserved to win. She should have won this one in two sets, because Justine wasn’t really on top of her game. Serena played a really clever game today…patient and well-thought out.
