Tennis Year Schedule
is this a ridiculous schedule for junior year?

AP Chemistry – before school class
Honors Physics
Regular Math
Lunch
Honors History
AP English
Gym
Honors French
AP Statistics
Honors Genetics – after school class

right now im an all honors student in 10th grade. i work twice a week after school, am on the JV tennis team, go to dance class every saturday, and volunteer at a hospital once a week.

all my friends as well as my parents think im completely INSANE and that i wont be able to handle the workload. what do you think???

also, do you think this would look good on a college application?
im applying to mostly a bunch of EXTREMELY competitive 6 and 7 year medical programs :) and i would LOVE if i got into harvard or princeton but i doubt i will haha

The fact that you have extracurricular activities will please most modern colleges more than that you’ve taken Honors/AP classes.
Also, you can take all the honors/AP classes you want – but if you don’t get good grades in them it will just make you look bad in the long run.
As per your scheduling – it’s similar to my schedule during my junior year of high school: minus that we were not allowed classes before or after school, only study groups.

You also have to remember to take a step back and enjoy the few years you have with your school friends as well. If you just load up your schedule with school activities, groups, clubs, etc. and don’t make time for friends – you *will* regret it later on when you either drift apart or forget your friends existed after high school.
Even worse is during your senior year when you have hours to yourself for a couple of nights and no friends to hang out with because you never made time for them before.
