What are my chances at Hofstra University?
I attend a small private Catholic high school in Gwynedd Valley, PA. I have a 2.7 GPA in my School … but apparently we have a higher standard, not sure about anything, but the Princeton Review calculated my GPA if my grades in each class and quality points, and said I had a 2.9 (I'll go through my school reports 2.7) I am captain of my schools tennis team member and have been since first-year students Year I've also played lacrosse since my freshmen year. I am in relation to life as a club and French club. I am a leader in 2 groups, Speak-Up and Student team ethic. I'm also on my school team show trial. I have fixed my SAT scores and recommendations: Math: 490 Critical Reading: 570 Writing: 610 I guess the SATs again in October and my goal is to get at least a 520 in math. What are my chances at Hofstra University in New York City?
Your GPA is low for Hofstra and math SAT is low as well for them. If you can put the Mathematics sat down in the 500s, you'd have a better chance. Sun prep for the repeat examination. But I think you stand a chance there. It's a bit of a reach school for you, but you stand a shot, are not so. BTW, Hofstra is not in NYC. It lies outside the city, on Long Iceland.
