espn jim rome world cup?
I just watch jim rome today, his show hasnt been on espn since the world cup been playing. Thats a good thing because he is one annoying SOB!. today he talk about the world cup and soccer and the usa team. He said that was a good story and nothing more those american fan that were cheering. either had nothing to watch since its summer and nothing to do. Nothing to watch? theres the tennis tournament going on and golf U.S open. And why would people wake up early in the morning 9am or people in the west coast who wake up earlier then that to catch the soccer game? Does he not know the world cup is in africa?
he is always bashing soccer and kept except that its the world most popular sport and it is growing in the USA. I think when it beats nba nfl in the next 10 20 years he will commit suicide. He also mention people watch the world cup just to get together and party and get drunk. Really? at 9am? jim rome needs to put his foot in his mouth. why does espn keep him on air anyway?
I’ve watched jim rome and i really hate him, i’m glad i haven’t seen his little show in a while. on the west coast i wake up exactly at 6:30 AM and watch the game, then wait for the 11:00 AM one. Yea, the “real americans” keep bashing soccer because they think it’s a pussy sport. but hell it’s a lot more entertaining than watching a bunch of fat dudes trying to sumo wrestle other fat dudes. ESPN probably has no one else that talks about sports.
